SPARTAN SIPS VISITS CRESTLINE

Crestline Elementary faculty and staff received a special holiday treat this week, thanks to Spartan Sips, the MBHS vocational class—learning job skills and communication skills while also having fun! They stopped by to serve delicious hot chocolate and iced coffee, as well as treats provided by the PTO, spreading holiday cheer throughout the school!

We were especially excited to welcome back several former Crestline students who are now part of the Spartan Sips team. It was wonderful to see them thriving in their roles and returning to give back to our community.

Thank you, Spartan Sips, for warming our hearts (and our cups) this season! Follow them on Instagram for updates—@spartansips.

CRESTLINE WINTER CONCERT

The Crestline Winter Concert takes place this week! Please look over the information below regarding the performances.

  • Students should wear nice holiday attire for the W-F performances. Clothes do not have to be overly dressy. Bright colors look good on stage. Please avoid heavy sweaters because it tends to get warm on stage. Also, think about hair bow size and placement to avoid blocking people on the risers behind your child.
  • All K-2 students will perform at each performance. Please see the schedule below for the performance you should attend.
  • The concert will last approximately 35 minutes. Each grade will perform three songs.

If you have any questions, please email Laura Butler (butlerl@mtnbrook.k12.al.us) or Janet Nelson (nelsonj@mtnbrook.k12.al.us).

CRESTLINE PRE-SCHOOL PROGRAM

Crestline is currently accepting peer model applications for the 2025-2026 school year. The program offers an inclusive preschool class for 3 and 4 year old children. We strive to provide a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional, communication and cognitive development of both typically developing young children and those with special needs.

The program was developed to provide opportunities for children with disabilities to receive instruction and services in a typical preschool classroom. Peer models should demonstrate appropriate social, behavioral, and communication skills.
