MARCH EVENTS
YEE-HAW, THAT WAS FUN!

Crestline, YOU showed up and showed out for the Cougar Bash!  Faculty and staff, your presence at the event was beyond amazing!  Parents, thank you for your generous support of our faculty and staff.  Thank you for your enthusiasm for and at the event. What a fun night to remember!

A HUGE thank you goes out to event chairs Lauren Rice and Caroline Poellnitz for bringing the idea of Cougar Bash to life and spending countless hours to make sure that every detail was covered.  Their dedication and creativity are greatly appreciated!  Thank you also to Sarah Peinhardt and Emily Tomlinson for all of their amazing work with decorations, including the showstopper giant moss boot!

TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK

Crestline went back to the 80’s last week to celebrate our totally tubular teachers and staff!  From Manic Monday to Super Fresh Friday, they were treated to breakfasts, lunch coverage, a snack bar, a coffee cart, and a luncheon with massages to cap things off.  We couldn’t have pulled off this maxin’ and relaxin’ week without all of our Crestline parents and students who celebrated everyone with notes and favorite things!

The Crestline PTO is so thankful for the wonderful efforts of Mary Chollet O’Neal, Katherine Naramore, Allyson Fox, Amanda Pridgen, Louise Price, Tiffany Linn, Marian Northington, and their Teacher & Staff Appreciation Committee.  They worked tirelessly to organize and execute a thoughtful and special week of recognizing our teachers and staff.  They decorated our school in radical 80’s style and treated our exceptional faculty and staff to treats all week! This special week was such a success because of ALL the hands that come together. Every volunteer showed up to help cover classes. We have a fantastic and supportive school community!

SPRING BREAK FOOD DRIVE

COUGARS SERVE! We will hold a Spring Break food drive March 3-12 to benefit our sister school, Brookville Elementary. We will be collecting non-perishable food items for Brookville students who are food insecure. Many of these children depend on the school for food and will be without that resource during Spring Break. Brookville suggests bringing food items that students can prepare themselves, such as breakfast foods (cereal, pop tarts, breakfast bars, granola bars), microwavable/canned food with pop tops (mac & cheese, noodles, Chef Boyardee spaghetti cups), peanut butter and jelly, and snacks (chips, applesauce, cookies, fruit cups, Cheez-Its, goldfish).

THANK YOU for your generosity!

We are thrilled to announce that the Invention Convention is back! We can't wait to see what our Crestline students will invent this year to make a better future! Students may begin submitting their "Intent to Invent" forms now. Here are some important dates to keep in mind:

  • Tuesday, March 11: Intent to Invent forms are due
  • Friday, March 14: Invention EduVision videos are due by 5:00 PM
  • Thursday, March 20: Invention Convention Winner announced

As part of their video, students should explain the problem their invention will solve, and they can demonstrate it with a model or drawing. All entries will receive a Hershey bar, and the winner will receive a Snoozy's gift basket!
